SEGA’s New RPG ‘Sin Chronicle’ Launches on March 23 for iOS and Android in Japan

Back in October last year, SEGA announced a new RPG for mobile in the form of Sin Chronicle . Sin Chronicle was supposed to launch in December 2021, but it was delayed after the first beta to take feedback into account. As mentioned during the original announcement, Sin Chronicle promises to be a true role-playing experience with your decisions having big consequences at the end of each chapter. It includes free roaming, big open fields, hack and slash combat, and more. The music is being composed by Kevin Penkin (Star Wars Visions, Florence) with guest composers including Masashi Hamauzu (Final Fantasy), Yasunori Mitsuda (Chrono Trigger), Yuzo Koshiro (Etrian Odyssey, Streets of Rage), and a lot more. In addition to getting the release date, SEGA also revealed more gameplay details including a new story trailer. Watch the new story trailer for Sin Chronicle below:

Over the weekend, SEGA announced that Sin Chronicle will launch on March 23 in Japan (via Gematsu). Sin Chronicle is available to pre-order on the App Store for iOS here and pre-register on Google Play for Android here in Japan. Hopefully SEGA can bring this outside Japan in the future. I’m curious to see how it does with some great composers working on the score and great voice talent. SEGA has been good with bringing many mobile games to the West, so hopefully this follows eventually. Are you going to try out the Japanese release for Sin Chronicle or are you waiting for a global release?
