Harry Potter Reunion Producers Admit To Mistakenly Using Picture Of Emma Roberts Instead Of Emma Watson

Eagle-eyed fans have noticed and helped to correct an error in HBO Max's recent Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts "retrospective special," where an image of a young Emma Roberts is displayed on screen instead of Emma Watson.

"Well spotted Harry Potter fans!" reads a statement from the special's producers, via The Wrap. "You brought an editing mistake of a mislabeled photograph to our attention. New version is up now."

As originally aired on January 1, the reunion had a sequence in which Watson discusses her own Harry Potter fandom from a young age--how her father read the books for her and her siblings. The special then cut to a photo of a young girl wearing Mickey Mouse ears. As fans noticed, however, this was a photo that Roberts posted on Instagram back in 2012.
